Description Of Non-Profit Organizations Below

Voice of Refugees

Voice of Refugees is specifically positioned to assist refugees and asylum-seekers from Middle Eastern and North African countries, as well as Iran, Iran, Afghanistan, and a few other countries that, though not regarded as Middle Eastern, fit the cultural demographic that we assist. We frequently help bridge language gaps, from Arabic, Dari, Pashto, and Farsi to English. Our goal is to welcome all with the love of Jesus who enter the United States.

The top three declared needs for refugees are employment, transportation, and language skills:

Employment assistance includes resume development, mock interviews, search job leads, and networking to secure job leads that help them achieve success in the U.S.

Transportation assistance involves preparing for written and driving tests, navigating the bus system, or providing rides to a medical or social service processing appointment.

Language skills are acquired through ESL (English as Second Language) classes, Conversation English Groups or friendship with a conversation partner.

Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force

The Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force aims to spread a message of hope, compassion, and perseverance. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and action, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good in fighting against human trafficking, often referred to as modern-day slavery.

The Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force (OCHTTF) is an emblematic organizational structure of different lead agencies and community partners driven together by a common mission; to combat human trafficking in the communities that we serve. We strive to build collaborative relationships across multiple disciplines modeling the victim-centered and trauma-informed approach in addressing the crime of human trafficking in Orange County, California; and to ensure that all victims are identified and supported, and perpetrators are held accountable.
